Working to increase resource information through evidence-based youth education, advertising medication disposal locations to the public, and sharing substance use updates to interested groups. Activities include presentations, print materials and website resources.

Justice Initiative
The Justice Initiative Work Group is comprised of individuals with lived experience, clinicians, service providers, and representatives from law enforcement and other first responder and mobile crisis response teams. This work group focuses on training and education, supportive resources, and initiatives that promote a safer and healthier community through improved partnerships, increased collaborations and the enhancement of coordinated care.
Meetings are virtual the first Tuesday of each month at 2 pm. This work group is chaired by Megan Tyler of Sacred Spaces of CARE (mtyler@sacredspacesofcare.org) who is available for questions should you like to learn more.
Metro-East Recovery Council
MERC works to provide support, education, training, resources, and other recovery services to individuals and families seeking or maintaining recovery. MERC recognizes that there are multiple pathways to recovery, and seeks to increase opportunities for individuals to engage in services that meet their specific needs.
